This is my first blog post. I'm not super awesome on the computer so we'll see how this goes. Adding pictures will be a challenge I'm sure.
I've written a book, but the editing process is a nightmare. I wanted it to be finished by February but that isn't happening. I came in contact with a professional editor who wanted $1,500 to edit my book. Don't have that kind of cash lying around!
My story takes place in Chicago, mostly in the suburb of Berwyn. It seems like a nice place for a story.
An ex police officer turned landscaper, finds a foot in a bed of Rhododendrons in the backyard of a very expensive home. A bare foot, sticking up out of the ground. The protagonist, Roy Jones, just wants to get paid for the landscape job, but suddenly he is drawn back into the world of police work as he tries to determine who committed this murder.
I've worked in the Horticulture industry most of my adult life, so I tied it, at least a little bit, into my story.
